We strive to promote Chinese traditional culture and enhance students’ generic skills through collaboration across different subjects, namely Citizenship and Social Development, History subject as well as Tourism and Hospitality, in a joint school project with Pui Kiu College and HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No.2 Secondary School. A student pioneer team of 3 schools is formed to undertake and commited in planning school activities through site visits to places like Hong Kong Palace Museum, Nan Lian Garden, Yuen Yuen Institute and etc on 23/10 and 24/10/2022, to obtain better understanding of site conditions and the work required to plan travel itinerary. Student participants are actively engaged in the activities in amiable cooperative manner.
On 17/1/2023, we were invited to visit Pui Kiu College and made dumplings together with other students and teachers from the abovementioned schools to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year. The students are more acquainted with the festival culture in the activities.
