Organized by SCMP, the Student of the Year Awards has served as an annual celebration of the incredible and diverse talents of students across Hong Kong. The awards recognise excellence in all forms, including outstanding academic performance, talent in sports and the arts, dedication to community service, and transformative personal growth.
The 44th Student of the Year Award Ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai on 12 July 2025 under the ‘Building Tomorrow: Growth Through Action’ theme. We are delighted that our Students 6D Li Langqing Sunny and 6E Huang Helen were shortlisted as the Finalists for the Student of the Year Award (Community Contributer, Merit) and Student of the Year Award (Linguist-Putonguha, Merit) respectively.
As the Head Prefect of 24-25, Langqing demonstrates her dedication to serving the school and the community. She also participated in publicity campaigns to promote anti-drug messages to the public.
Huang Helen’s linguistic prowess and dedication can be shown from her passion as a talented presenter and writer. She also actively promotes students’ interest in writing in school.

The Hong Kong Youth Award Scheme (AYP) recognizes students for their outstanding achievements in personal development and service. Our students demonstrated excellent performance in the scheme and received awards at different levels.
Ma Hui Ching from Class 5E received the Silver Standard;
Wan Hao Ran from Class 4A and Yang YuFei from Class 5C received the Bronze Standard.

為培育學生的21世紀核心能力，本校特意邀請了資深辯論及領導培訓專家——黃潔慧女士，主理「未來領袖：4C能力培訓課程」。黃女士曾任特首選舉候選人之辯論顧問，現致力於學界培育英才。是次課程設計，旨在引導學生發掘個人特質，全面提升四大核心能力（4C）：

- 創意思維 (Creativity)
- 協作能力 (Collaboration)

由葵涌及青衣區文藝協進會主辦、馮燊均國學基金會合辦「第八屆全港學界中國成語故事演講比賽2026」已於上星期舉辦決賽。
恭喜我校2B施奕辰同學晉身決賽，並榮獲優異獎。這次比賽同學需數月的準備，透過生動、吸引的演說來介紹一個成語故事，並分享其中國傳統的優良品德價值觀。施同學能在過百參賽者脫穎而出躋身決賽，勇獲優異獎，實屬難得！

Our students participated in the 62nd Schools Dance Festival, competing in the Secondary School Division for Chinese Dance (Group Dance). After a long period of dedicated practice, they performed an elegant dance piece titled "Intoxicating Spring Breeze" (醉春風) and proudly won the Highly Commended Award. Congratulations to all the participating students!
We are pleased to announce that our students awarded a scholarship of $5000 for their outstanding academic performance. Organized by The Hong Kong Fujian Charitable Education Fund, the scholarship aims to encourage S2-S6 students who are excellent in academic studies and conduct to explore their potentials. The Scholarship Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 28 February, 2026.

4C Yeung Yeung won the Excellence Prize in the 2025 IKCEST International Big Data Competition hosted by Baidu. It is a high-profile international event hosted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (IKCEST). It is really rare to stand out among so many international talents!
Congratulations to 5D Poon Sing Hon for winning the 2nd "Hong Kong Outstanding Student Charity and Social Service Award" jointly organised by Hong Kong Wenwei Po and the Hong Kong Federation of Educators. After rigorous selection, the students stood out among the many participants. The award aims to recognize outstanding students who actively participate in charity and social services, demonstrate a caring spirit and sense of responsibility, and encourage young people to give back to the community through actions.
