Our school’s Start-up Cafe, Dreamland, clinched the second place in the “We’re Opening a Shop! One-Day Coffee Shop Career Planning and Entrepreneurship Competition 2023” organized by the Jao Tsung-I Academy TIMELESS CAFÉ.

Dreamland participated in the “We’re Opening a Shop! One-Day Coffee Shop Career Planning and Entrepreneurship Competition 2023” organized by the Jao Tsung-I Academy TIMELESS CAFÉ, which took place on December 11, 2023, operating their coffee shop for a day. They offered distinctive coffees and food items, and their original drinks such as “Radiant Light” (流光溢彩) and “First Snow on Mount Fuji,”  (富士山初雪) along with desserts like “Winter Blaze” (冬日烈焰) and “Crispy Delight,” (鬆鬆脆脆) were exceptionally well-received. On that day, our principal, teachers, schoolmates, parents and alumnus also visited and supported us. We even achieved a record-breaking revenue exceeding ten thousand dollars finally.

The results were announced on January 7, 2024, and our school secured the runner-up position. Although only six members were directly involved in the actual operations during the competition, all Dreamland members contributed. The purchasing department handled necessary supplies, the marketing department promoted the event and arranged the venue, the human resources department conducted staff training, and the coffee and dessert departments designed their unique creations. As a result, this award belongs to all Dreamland members, and we extend our congratulations to Dreamland and the winning students! We also appreciate everyone’s support for Dreamland!
