S.4D and 4E students had joined the “Press to Stroke- Save a life” which was a CPR & AED Course organized by the Hong Kong Fire Services at school. The tutor used some syncope cases to illustrate the importance of acquiring the first aid knowledge and skills. After the tutor demonstrated the procedure of handling an unconscious patient, our students had used different types of automated external defibrillators (AED) to practice the skills. Under the supervision of the tutors, they learnt to operate AED and perform the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). At the end of the course, they received the attendance certificates.
