Our School Prefect Team joined a leadership training day camp organized by Junior Police Call on 6th March. It aimed at fostering the personal qualities of respect, self-discipline and forgiveness on each prefect. Throughout the activity, students got to know each other in ice breaking games, encouraged each other in ziplining section as well as fighting crime as police in room escape games. Under the “Project Legacy” scheme of The Hong Kong Police Force, five alumni from different departments interacted and discussed with prefects, and students benefited a lot from the sharing about police duties, school experiences and life planning. In order to express the gratitude to the alumni and campsite instructors, the prefect representatives designed Thank You Cards and held appreciation ceremony for them. With the classic song “Boundless Oceans Vast Skies”, students squatted for five minutes as the end of the day camp. Apart from the unforgettable memories, it is believed that prefects will continue to uphold the spirit of “Care, Oneness, Respect, Excellence” in the CORE Value, and serve with professional manner as the role models among our schoolmates.
