Our 6D student, Wang Yu Yao, Summer, was recently selected for the prestigious “Asian Science Camp 2026” (ASC) and proudly represented Hong Kong this summer, engaging in profound academic exchanges with top scientists and outstanding youths from around the world!
ASC is an internationally renowned, non-profit scientific initiative designed to inspire promising young scientists across Asia. With a deep passion for scientific inquiry and exceptional talent, Summer stood out during the rigorous selection process. Over the seven-day camp, Summer had the rare opportunity to interact closely with several Nobel Laureates (including laureates in Chemistry and Physics), a Fields Medalist, and other distinguished global scholars. By participating in plenary lectures, small-group dialogue sessions, poster showcases and group projects, Summer not only broadened their international horizons, but also deepened her understanding of interdisciplinary research, gaining first-hand inspiration directly from scientific pioneers. We firmly believe this invaluable experience will serve as an essential cornerstone in Summer’s scientific journey, and that she will continue to shine, explore, and grow in the STEM field.
