The 36th Graduation Ceremony was held on 24 May 2019 at the school Hall. Officiating at the ceremony were the Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association, Mr Leung King Shing, Parent Manager of IMC, Ms Li Shui Wan and our alumnus, Mr Lee Yau Ching.
During the ceremony, our principal, Mr Leung Tung Wing, Paul began with a school report, followed by expressing his heartfelt gratitude to our alumnus, Mr Lee for his generous donation for installing a solar-powered system on our school premise in support of renewable energy and the development of STEM education. By doing so, our school will benefit from Feed-in Tariff payments. He then gave a few words to the graduates reminding them to thank their parents and peers for their constant support and care. Having the courage to embrace challenges ahead, integrity and diligence will lead them to the road of success. He concluded his speech by telling our graduates to treat Mr Lee as their role model for his devotion to alma mater. While the chairman, Mr Leung reminded graduates to be great companions of each other throughout ups and downs. This year, our graduates will contribute a donation for the “Service Programme in China” to express their care and concern for China.
The graduation ceremony was followed by a series of student performances of our Chinese Orchestra, duet singers and Dance Club. Parents, teachers and graduates had a warm and memorable evening which ended with a tea reception at the covered playground.
