To align with this year’s theme, "Strive for Excellence," our school was honored to invite Mr. Ricky Wong, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Wheelock Properties, to be the guest speaker at the “Talking To CEO” assembly. Mr. Wong shared his personal success story under the topic " Strive for Excellence".
Before the assembly, Mr. Wong visited “Dreamland,” a student-run café, where he exchanged latte art techniques and business insights with the students, gaining a firsthand understanding of our school’s commitment to nurturing practical skills.
During the assembly, as an alumnus of a TWGHs school, Mr. Wong was deeply moved while singing the school song with teachers and students. He encouraged students by highlighting the school motto: “Diligence, Frugality, Loyalty, and Trustworthiness.” Sharing his key principles for success — “Stay positive in life; stay focused in work”—he inspired students to maintain a positive and resilient attitude when facing challenges, to persevere, and to steadfastly pursue their goals. Mr. Wong’s life story offered profound inspiration to all students.
